These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Global Innovation Summit ("GInS", "we", "us", "our") website at gins.org and all related events, materials, and services. By using the website or registering for the summit, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using any part of the GInS website, registering for the summit, or participating in any GInS event, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the website or register for the summit.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to register for the summit. By registering, you represent and warrant that the information you provide is accurate, current, and complete, and that you have the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement.
3. Registration & Tickets
Registrations are personal and non-transferable unless we expressly authorise a transfer in writing. You are responsible for safeguarding your registration confirmation, badge, and any access credentials. We reserve the right to refuse or revoke registration at our sole discretion, including for breach of these Terms.
4. Payment, Refunds & Cancellations
All fees, where applicable, are quoted and payable in the currency stated at checkout. Unless otherwise stated, all payments are non-refundable. If the summit is rescheduled, your registration will automatically transfer to the new date. If the summit is cancelled by us, you will receive a refund of paid registration fees as the sole and exclusive remedy.
5. Code of Conduct
GInS is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and harassment-free environment for all attendees. By attending, you agree to behave professionally and lawfully, to follow the instructions of summit staff, and to refrain from any conduct that disrupts the event, harasses other participants, or damages the venue. We reserve the right to remove anyone who violates this code without refund.
6. Content & Intellectual Property
All content on the GInS website and at the summit — including logos, trademarks, text, graphics, presentations, and recordings — is owned by Global Innovation Summit, its licensors, or its contributors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our prior written consent, except for personal, non-commercial use.
7. Photography & Recording
The summit is photographed, filmed, and recorded. By attending, you grant GInS a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use your image, likeness, and voice in any media for promotional, educational, and archival purposes. You may not photograph, record, or live-stream sessions for commercial use without our prior written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GInS, its affiliates, partners, and personnel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the website or attendance at the summit. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the registration fees you paid for the relevant event.
9. Changes to the Summit
We reserve the right to modify the summit programme, speakers, venue, dates, or format at any time. While we will use reasonable efforts to notify registered participants of any material changes, we are not liable for any travel, accommodation, or related expenses you incur.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Global Innovation Institute is incorporated, without regard to its conflict- of-law principles. Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
